Evans gets 1,000th in win at Carlisle

BARDWELL, Ky. – Senior Elliot Evans scored a team-high 20 points and got her 1,000th career point early in the first period Thursday as the Lady Rockets easily dispatched host Carlisle County 64-44 on the road. 

Evans becomes the 13th Lady Rocket in school history to cross the 1K point plateau. 

Sophomore Jordyn Hodge also scored 20 as CCHS improved 6-2.

Crittenden dropped seven three pointers in the first half, racing out to a substantial lead then unloading the bench for much of the second half.

The girls will be off until Tuesday when they play at Union County, their last game in Kentucky before heading to Florida to play over the holiday break.
