Rocket senior Hayden Adamson – who had been out with an injury – made his season debut against Whitesville Trinity Tuesday in a game played at St. Mary’s holiday showcase in Paducah.
Adamson scored eight points as the Rockets won 66-59.
CCHS drained eight threes – 7 in the second half – and took the lead in the third quarter. Adamson and Trace Derrington had two threes apiece and Preston Morgeson dropped three treys.
Travis Champion led the way with 23 points.
