Lady Rockets have won 6 of last 7

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – The Lady Rockets finished off a 2-1 holiday run by beating event host Allen County-Scottsville 54-48 Sunday.

Freshman point guard Taylor Guess scored 26 en route to the win.

Nahla Woodward scored a dozen for Crittenden, which improved to 7-4 on the season.

The Lady Rockets have won six of their last seven games and inched up a notch in the Second Region media poll to ninth. They were ranked 10th in the preseason and had stayed there nearly every week so far this season.

Crittenden will be back in action Friday with a Fifth District game at home against Lyon County. CCHS is 2-1 in district play this season.
