Hodge scores 29 to beat Union

MORGANFIELD, Ky. – Sophomore guard Jordyn Hodge paced the Lady Rockets to a 61-45 pre-Christmas win Tuesday against Union County. In the last two games, Hodge has amassed 49 points to pace the Lady Rockets in their final games prior to a short holiday before heading to a tournament Dec. 29-31 in Orlando, Fla.

Union County (2-4) set the tone and made some shots to lead early. As the game wore on, the Lady Rockets’ outmanned the Bravettes behind Hodge’s hot hands. The Lady Rockets extended the lead to 16 before the break. 

To start the second half, the Lady Rockets (7-2) went on a 18-2 run, getting 12-points each from seniors Anna Boone and Bristyn Rushing.

Crittenden has defeated Union County seven out of the last 10 meetings.
