MARION, Ky. – The Lady Rockets won their sixth straight game to start the season on Saturday despite missing starting center Bristyn Rushing, out with an injury.
Crittenden County beat visiting Carlisle County 61-40 in a game CCHS led from the jump. Junior Anna Boone scored 19 points to lead a trio of Rocket girls in double figures. Elliot Evans added 13 and Jordyn Hodge a dozen.
CCHS will play Lyon County at Eddyville Monday in a district showdown of the league's top two teams. The Lady Lyons are 6-1 overall and 1-0 in the Fifth District. Crittenden is 6-0 overall and 2-0 in district games.
