MARION, Ky. – For about a half, the Rockets kept the game close Tuesday at home against Webster before the Trojans physical play won the battle.
Champion scored 20 for the Rockets.
Play was a bit chippy at times, and there were technicals called on players from each team during the middle part of the contest.
The road doesn’t get any easier. On Friday CCHS will play a district game at Lyon County against perhaps the region’s top team.
