Rocket drop second game at Campbellsville

Seth Guess got his first start of
the season today and scored 12.
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The trio of Travis Champion, Preston Morgeson and Seth Guess combined to score 44 points, but it wasn’t enough against Danville Christian as the Rockets dropped their second game at the Campbellsville Holiday Tournament.

Champion scored 13 of his 20 points in the second half and Guess had all of his dozen points in the first half. Guess drew the start at guard, his first of the season. He also picked up three fouls in the first half. Morgeson scored three treys en route to a dozen points in the 68-54 loss.

The Rockets got behind by double-digits early and it stayed that way the rest of the game. 

Danville Christian improved to 8-4 on the season.

The loss moves the Rockets’ record to 5-7 on the season. They will play one more game at the holiday event at noon Friday against John Hardin. The game can be viewed on NFHS Network.
