MARION, Ky. – Crittenden County drained five three-pointers in the first eight minutes to blow the doors open against Dawson Springs Friday night at Rocket Arena.
CCHS kept the pressure on in the second period and walked away with a 67-33 victory, its 11th in 24 games this season.
Travis Champion scored 20. Trace Derrington and Preston Morgeson had 14 and 13 points, respectively. Together, they had five of the team’s seven three-point shots.
The Rockets host Carlisle County Saturday. There will be a varsity doubleheader at Rocket Arena with the girls hosting Union County at 4pm. The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is between games.
