Viking foul shots sink Rockets in fourth quarter

PADUCAH, Ky. – Crittenden County saw a first-half lead disappear in the third period and St. Mary held on down the stretch to beat the Rockets 50-47 Saturday afternoon in the Organ Donor Shootout at McCracken County.

The Rockets led 23-18 at the half, but the Vikings (9-9) scored 11 points at the foul line down the stretch as CCHS falls to 8-9 on the season.

Junior point guard Travis Champion scored 22 and junior guard Preston Morgeson added a dozen for the CCHS.
