PADUCAH, Ky. – Foul shooting was the storyline in the Lady Rockets’ 80-64 road win Tuesday at Tilghman.
The Paducah girls committed 31 fouls and Crittenden County scored 43 percent of its points at the charity stripe. The Lady Rockets scored just two field goals in the fourth period and made 20 foul shots in the quarter to pull away with a big win.
Four players scored in double figures for CCHS, led by Taylor Guess’s best offense outing of the season. She scored 32 points, going 14-for-16 from the foul line.
Crittenden was originally scheduled to play Madisonville, but COVID canceled that one and the girls picked up the game at Paducah.
