Lady Rockets fall in district finals

Lady Rockets take 2nd in 5th District

Crittenden County's girls shot poorer than they had all season long and Lyon County's Becca Somers was unstoppable to the basket as Lyon County beat the Lady Rockets 51-34 in the Fifth District championship game Friday at Eddyvlle.

Somers had 26 points and Crittenden got 14 from Cassidy Moss.

Both teams advance to the Second Region Tournament starting Monday at Hopkinsville.
