Lady Rockets let chance slip away

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Crittenden County's second-half defense Tuesday trimmed a 16-point deficit back to a one-point game with six minutes to play, but then couldn't find the offense to overcome Christian County.

Cassidy Moss scored 22 and Champion had 11 for Crittenden County.

Christian County (6-6) freshman guard Aaliyah Hampton had 14 and six-foot sophomore center Trinitee Jackson scored 13 and grabbed 18 rebounds.
