Crittenden County (10-4) lost to Trigg County at Rocket Arena Friday night, diminishing the boys chances of winning the regular-season district championship. Crittenden had gone 3-0 in the district out of the chute, but it has now lost two straight. It looks like Trigg will be the district's No. 1 seed in postseason.
Meanwhile, the Lady Rockets whipped Trigg in Friday's key district matchup, assuring the girls of a chance of playing for a share of the district's regular-season title at Livingston later this month. The Lady Rockets are now 10-6. Lyon and Crittenden have split this season and each have one district loss.
