Leonard Faith, 71, of Marion died yesterday. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Faith was devoted local sports booster and scorekeeper for Rocket basketball games from the 1980s until only a few years ago when declining health prohibited him from being at the scorer's table.
Faith's son, Richard, who played guard for the Rockets in the late 1980s, has carried on his father's legacy as book keeper for the team.
