Girls and Boys lose at Hopkins Central

Crittenden County's boys' game went right down to the wire Thursday at Hopkins Central before the Rockets lost by two. CCHS guard Aaron Owen scored 28.

The girls were within 10 points in the final few minutes, but ended up getting beat by 20.

Crittenden will play a varsity doubleheader tonight at St. Mary. The Lady Vikings have to two top scorers in all of western Kentucky. Together (Durbin and Kupper) are averaging 41 points, about the same as CCHS girls. St. Mary's boys recently won the First Region Class A Tournament. Tough road games ahead.
