Rockets avenge earlier loss, close season with win

Crittenden County closed out its season with a strong win over Fort Campbell Friday at Marion. The Falcons had beaten the Rockets in their first meeting this season.

The Rockets head into post-season play Tuesday with its best record since 2006.

To open the Fifth District tournament, Crittenden plays Trigg County at Cadiz in Tuesday night's second game. Lyon plays Livingston in the opener.

The Lady Rockets, winners of four games this season, plays Lyon County in the district tournament Monday in the evening's second game. Livingston plays Trigg in the opener. Lyon County has multiple injuries that could leave an opening for the Lady Rockets.
