MARION, Ky. – The Lady Rockets remain undefeated to start the season after beating Union County 58-41 Thursday at Rocket Arena.
Crittenden County weathered some ball control issues in the first half, but gained momentum in the second half and pulled away by 10 in the third period. The lead was extended in the final quarter to 20 points en route the victory.
Junior guard Elliot Evans led the Lady Rockets 13 points, including three treys and Anna Boone and Bristyn Rushing added 10 apiece as CCHS had balanced scored for the third time in three games.
Crittenden, now 3-0, has beaten Union County four of the last five meetings. Senior Paige Steward led the Lady Braves (0-2) with 18 points.
