Crittenden County lost 61-43 Friday to Fifth District foe Trigg County at Rocket Arena, but turned the tables on Caldwell County Tuesday at the same venue, beating the Tigers 65-62 in a thriller. It was the first Rocket win over Caldwell since a double-overtime victory in 2014.
Freshman Preston Morgeson touched in a three-pointer with four seconds to play Tuesday, breaking a tie game. Then he picked off Caldwell’s inbounds pass, preventing any sort of a Tiger miracle.
