Eight Lady Rockets join Three-Point Dance

MARION, Ky. – While there is no way to be certain, there is an excellent chance Crittenden County set a team record in Saturday’s matinee against Hopkinsville. The Lady Rockets had eight different players make at least one 3-pointer and finished with 13 treys in a 77-22 victory, their 20th win of the season.

Senior Anna Boone buried five 3-pointers and led CCHS with 19 points. Sophomore Jordyn Hodge added 17 points, including two from beyond the arc.

Crittenden seized control early, building a 26-6 lead after one quarter and stretching the margin to 48-18 by halftime. With the outcome well in hand, the Lady Rockets went deep into the bench. Twelve players saw action, and 11 scored.

Hopkinsville fell to 1-16 in what will be the school’s final season before consolidating with Christian County.

CCHS has two regular-season games remaining. The Lady Rockets will travel to Madisonville on Tuesday and host McLean County on Friday.
