The Lady Rockets’ basketball season got off to a good start this week, but not before a 24-hour delay.
Crittenden County was set to host St. Mary Monday night but the Lady Vikings never showed up.
On Tuesday, the girls beat Dawson Springs 57-45 on the road to get the campaign kicked off on the right foot.
Lady Rocket coach Hodge said her girls showed maturity in overcoming the letdown of missing a home opener Monday then winning on the road. See more in this week's printed edition of The Crittenden Press.
