Class A Tournament game is postponed

The Rockets' All A Classic Tournament basketball game against Livingston Central scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to weather.

The game is rescheduled for Wednesday night. The starting time has not been confirmed. It will start at either 6 p.m., or 7 p.m.

Class A Tournament this week in Marion

Crittenden County is hosting the All A Classic Basketball tournaments at Rocket Arena this week.

The Lady Rockets open tonight (Monday) against Caldwell County at 7 p.m.

The Rockets host Livingston Central Tuesday for a first-round game at 7 p.m.

The rest of the Class A brackets will begin on Thursday at Rocket Arena.

Crittenden's boys are coming off a loss Friday at Lyon County and a narrow overtime defeat Saturday at home against Madisonville. Crittenden has beaten Livingston on two previous matchups this season.

Meanwhile, the Lady Rockets will have their work cut out for them against Caldwell County, one of the better teams in the region.

Crittenden sweeps Trigg at Rocket Arena

Crittenden County pulled off a doubleheader sweep of Trigg County Tuesday at Rocket Arena.

The wins snapped a long losing streak for the girls and gives the boys a chance to play for the district title Friday at Lyon County.

Rockets 1-2 at LaRue County tournament

Crittenden County's boys beat Louisville Shawnee, but lost to Carroll and Washington counties during the holiday tournament Thursday through Saturday at LaRue County. Details will be available soon.

Crittenden County's basketball teams are back in action starting today and tomorrow following a brief holiday break.

The Rockets are playing three days in a tournament at LaRue County. You can click on this TOURNAMENT LINK to see pairings. The tournament is in Hodgenville, which is of course the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln.

The Lady Rockets play at St. Mary Friday night in JV and Varsity doubleheader. Then, they will be off until the rematch against Livingston Central at Rocket Arena on Jan. 4. That will be a girls and boys doubleheader.
